The Ilocos Sur Festival happens only once in a year. This year it happened on January 18 2024 and ended on February 14 2024. There are parades, dances, and yummy local food that make it super lively and fun. It's like a big party where everyone gets to celebrate and be proud of their cultural roots.
I went to a bunch of concerts Al james, Silent Sanctuary, and many more. The best part all of the concert I attended to is all free. While I were having fun, they also left me pretty tired. The festival isn't just about watching stuff; it's also about having a good time with friends. We even did a 20-kilometer fun run together, which was a blast but also really exhausting. It showed how the festival is not just about the show but also about doing things together and having fun.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the carnival rides because I got sick, which was a bummer. Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you miss out on things. On the positive side, we tried some local food at Kannawidan during the festival, and it was delicious. It added a tasty touch to our experience and made us feel more connected to the festival's vibe. The Ilocos Sur Festival is all about enjoying the good times, even if things don't go as planned.
